Fruits, herbs and vegetables are planted in NFT (nutrient film technique) growing channels, where they are supplied with requisite light through blue & red LEDs & a constant stream of nutrient-rich solutions, oxygen, and water.

    Aeroponics is a farming technique in which the top of the plant, the crown, and the bottom of the plant, the roots, are suspended in the air. Thus, the crown can grow upward and the roots downward without needing any soil at all. A fine mist of a nutrient-rich, water-mix solution is continuously sprayed on the suspended roots. It helps the most efficient absorption of nutrients by the plants. Plants receive 100% of the oxygen available.

Vertical farming is unaffected by the adversities of climate changes. It is not dependent on external sources of light and protected from the fluctuations in the weather conditions. Therefore, crops can be grown year round in vertical farms.
