Hydroponics is a sustainable farming technique that uses zero soil & 90% less water. This is where the roots are exposed to the nutrient-rich solution which helps better absorption of the nutrients. This also makes it easier to adjust pH levels as compared to the plants in soil. Fruits, herbs and vegetables are planted in NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) growing channels, where they are supplied with requisite light through blue & red LEDs & a constant stream of nutrient-rich solutions, oxygen, and water.
